Nebraska (NE811)
Effective Date: Available Now
New Positive Response Status Code for Natural Gas Transmission Pipeline Standby
Nebraska 811 has introduced a new Positive Response System (PRS) status code specifically for natural gas transmission pipeline standby situations.
This enhancement allows locators to accurately communicate when a standby is required for natural gas transmission pipeline work. Using the correct response code helps organizations comply with Nebraska requirements.
Louisiana (LA811)
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
New Damage Notification Ticket Type
Louisiana 811 is introducing a new Damage Notification ticket type.
KTM users will be able to receive, view, and track Damage Notification tickets directly within the application. These tickets are informational in nature and do not require or allow a standard locate positive response per LA811.
Pennsylvania (PA811)

PA811 Legacy Response Method Deprecation Date: July 31, 2026
New Positive Response REST API Support
To support Pennsylvania 811's technology modernization, KTM now supports the new PA811 Positive Response REST API.
The new response method is currently available and ready for customer adoption. Pennsylvania 811 plans to retire the legacy positive response mechanism on July 31, 2026.
In addition to meeting the new PA811 requirements, the REST API provides support for file and photo attachments as part of the positive response submission process.
Michigan (XML tickets via Irth)

Irth Utilisphere XML Ticket Support
KTM now supports receiving XML tickets via the Irth Utilisphere platform for Michigan customers.
This enhancement improves ticket delivery capabilities for our customers who need to receive MI locate tickets from other organizations who utilize the Irth Utilisphere system.
Wisconsin (XML tickets via Irth)
