-

Creating a New Schedule
-
Review the existing schedules within the KorTerra account (found along the left side of the Schedule Maintenance screen underneath the green “Add New Schedule” button). Ensure that the schedule of days and times does not exist before creating a new schedule. If the schedule already exists, move to review the document to configure Emergency Notifications. If the schedule does not exist, move to step 2.
-
Click the green “Add New Schedule” button, which will generate a new blank template like the example below:
-
In the “Schedule Name” field, provide a name for the schedule (this cannot be changed, so make sure it is meaningful).
-
Carefully review the Dates and Times within the schedule. The time rows are displayed using the 24-hour clock (with 0:00 representing midnight, 13:00 representing 1:00 PM, and so on to 23:00 representing 11:00 PM). Remember that all times configured in Schedule maintenance are in Central Time. Users can select the times for each day through Schedule maintenance in two different methods:
-
The first method is for the user to hover their mouse cursor and click on specific times for a day they’d like to have notifications triggered. Note: The times can be clicked individually, and a user can click and drag down to highlight the times they want to include for a specific day (refer to the video recording below). If a time is selected, the area will be highlighted in blue.
-
b. The second method is done by clicking the Time Options drop-down button in the top-right corner of the New Schedule. This will expand out the days of the week, start and end times for the days that the user wants to update the schedule for, and precision in minutes that the schedule times should accommodate (so if the schedule should be specified to start at 7:30 AM or end at 16:30 (4:30 PM), this can allow the user to accomplish this).
Note: The Quick Pick drop-down button can also be helpful, as it provides common days of the week on which users can base their schedules (such as every day, every weekday, every other day, or the weekend).
Select the days of the week the user would like the scheduled times and precision set. Once the days, times, and precision are set, click the Update Table button to implement the changes. Note: If the schedule already has existing times that were selected from using the method in method A or even a schedule that was created through method B but not saved, the Update Table button will erase the previously selected times (refer to the example video below).
-
Once the user specifies the days and times each day they would like the Emergency Notification Schedule to apply, click the green Save button at the top-right corner of the New Schedule.
This will add the new schedule to the list along the left side of the screen in Schedule Maintenance, and it will now be available to select within Emergency Notification Maintenance (the Emergency Notification Group creation documentation can be found here).
