Overview
KorTerra has introduced two new completion warning messages that can be displayed when locators complete tickets. These messages ensure your employees are closing out tickets in accordance with your business rules.
Ticket Completion Warning Mismatch
The goal of this message is to prevent a locator from accidentally completing a ticket before the final locate.
On the completion screen, when a locator selects a Work Performed type of “Not Complete” but then selects the “Complete” button rather than the “Partial Completion” button, the locator can be shown a warning. This warning prevents the locator from fully completing the ticket.
The locator can click "Cancel” and return to the completion screen to update their selection(s).
Note: the current message is not customizable.
To Configure:

To enable the message yourself, perform the following steps:
- Log into www.korterra.net as a KorTerra Customer Admin.
- In the left main menu, select Maintenance.
- Next, from the inset menu, select Admin (selected by default) > Customer Settings.
- Next, select the Ticket tab.
- Scroll to the EnableFullCompleteWorkPerformedValidation setting and select Edit.
- To activate, click true and select the green checkmark to activate.

Project Completion Warning
When selecting “Complete” on a project ticket, the locator will be informed that they are completing the project and reminded to review their completion screen selections.
The locator will be allowed to click Ok to confirm and complete, or Cancel to return to the completion screen to verify or update their selections.

- Log into www.korterra.net as a KorTerra Customer Admin.
- In the left main menu, select Maintenance.
- Next, from the inset menu, select Admin (selected by default) > Customer Settings
- Next, select the Ticket tab.
- Scroll the ProjectFullCompletionWarning setting and select Edit.
- Enter a message that is appropriate for your business rules.
- To activate, click true and select the green checkmark to activate.
