Sync Failures
Occasionally, an item will fail during the sync process. After several failed sync attempts, the sync status pop-up will display an option the clear the failed item(s). Click Clear to restore the sync process and allow it to proceed.
Uploading Logs
You may be asked by KorTerra support to upload your KorTerra Field logs to help diagnose a specific issue. To upload your logs:
- Open the side menu (three-bars icon) and select Help.
- Select Upload logs.
- Verify your Username and Customer ID are accurate.
- Select Upload local data. The logs will automatically be sent to KorTerra for review.
Local Storage
KorTerra Field uses a local database (storage) to ensure that you can work offline when needed. The local database is automatically optimized on a weekly basis according your Preferences settings to ensure KorTerra Field is operating efficiently. The database can also be optimized and reset on demand.
Optimizing Storage
Optimizing storage may be necessary if you are experiencing performance issues with KorTerra Field. KorTerra Field is automatically optimized on a weekly basis according to your Preferences. If, however, you wish to manually optimize KorTerra Field’s database, use the following steps:
- Open the side menu (three-bars icon).
- Select Help.
- In the Storage drop-down list, select Optimize Storage. The next time you restart KorTerra Field, the local storage will be optimized. Do not exit KorTerra Field until this process completes, which can take up to 1 minute.
Resetting Storage
If you have optimized your storage and are continuing to experience performance issues with KorTerra Field, use the following steps to reset your local storage. Resetting your storage will permanently delete any unsynced data. Do not exit KorTerra Field until the process completes, which can take some time.
- Open the side menu (three-bars icon).
- Select Help.
- In the Storage drop-down list, select Reset Storage.

If you are experiencing issues with KorTerra Field, use the following steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
- Close and restart KorTerra Field.
- Optimize storage on demand. See Optimizing Storage.
- Reset storage. See Resetting Storage.
- Remove and reinstall KorTerra Field from your device.
