Manually Optimizing Your KorTerra Field App Database for Enhanced Performance
To maintain optimal performance and ensure efficient data synchronization in your KorTerra Field App, it's advisable to manually optimize the app's database, especially if you experience any slowness. For the best experience, technicians should optimize at regular, weekly intervals. Follow these steps to perform a manual optimization:

Sync All Data
Optimization will not run if there are unsynced records.

Access the Main Menu:
Tap the three horizontal bars located in the top-left corner of the app.

Select "Help":
In the menu, tap on the "Help" option

Choose "Storage":
Within the Help section, select "Storage."

Optimize the Database:
Tap on "Optimize" and then confirm by selecting "Confirm."

Force Close the App:

Access Recent Apps
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold to open the recent apps menu.
This may also be an icon on the bottom-left of your screen (three vertical lines).

Locate the Field App
Scroll through the list of open apps to find the Field App.

Close the App
Swipe up (or to the side) to close the app.

Access the App Switcher
On iPhones with Face ID, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause in the middle.

Locate the Field App:
Swipe left or right to find the Field App.

Close the App
Swipe up on the Field App's preview to force close it.

Reopen the App and Log In (if necessary):
Tap the Field App icon to reopen it.
Log in with your credentials if prompted.
Your database is now optimized. You can perform this optimization process anytime you notice any slowness with the app.
